Recruitment Notice

ONLINE applications are invited for the following vacant post of Bherir Bazar Yogoda Satsanga Vidyalaya (H.S.), Dist – Purba Medinipur, running under the aegis of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India through Special Rules granted by the Govt. of West Bengal. The last date of submitting applications online is 21^st February, 2024.

1. Asst. Teacher, in H.S. Section in Nutrition, P.G. with B.Ed., Reserved (SC)
2. Clerk, Passed School Final/Madhyamic or equivalent – Unreserved Category

For the Asst. Teacher post there will be a prliminary test of 150 marks followed by four other tests as follows :

Bengali 50 marks, English 50 marks, Subject 100 marks and 50 marks in Value Added Education along with the aims and ideals of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India. Besides, there will be a 10 marks test on class demonstration.

As required under the rule, a qualifying cut-off mark for the Preliminary Test conducted against this post as mentioned above will be decided separately by the Selection Committee at its own discretion.

All eligibility criteria (including age) will be as per norms of the WBSSC Rules for Appointment of Teachers 2007 and all subsequent amendments issued till date.

For post of Clerk, there will be a 45 marks exam as per WBSSC procedures for selection of Clerk, a 15 marks exam based on Value Added Education along with the Aims and ideals of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India and a 25 marks exam for typing with computer and computer proficiency test. Besides, there will also be a Personality Test of 05 marks.

All eligibility criteria (including age) will be as per norms of the 'West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) (Selection of Persons for Appointment to the Post of Non-Teaching Staff) Rules, 2009' and all subsequent amendments issued till date.

GOs to be followed for the Teacher Post:

175-SE/JS/13 dated 27.8.2013, 1106-SE/S/1S-26/2010 (Pt.-III) dated 20.09.2016, 231 – SE/IS-21/19 dated 18.02.2020 and subsequent amendments.

GOs to be followed for the Clerk Post:

No. 697-ES/S/IS-18/08 dated 09.07.2009, No. 258-SE(S)/1S-08/2014 dated 06.04.2015, No. 727-SE(S)/IS-08/2014 dated 02.06.2016 and subsequent amendments.

Pay scale, allowances and other retirement benefits are as per state govt. rules as applicable to grant in-aid institutions.

It may please be noted that the last date of online submission of applications for these posts is 21^st February, 2024.

Examination Fees:

For the post of teacher ------------------Rs. 600/- (SC)

For the post of clerk -------------------- Rs. 500/- (General) and Rs. 400/- (SC/ST/OBC/PH)

Examination fees should be paid ONLINE as per the instructions given in the website.

The details of venue and dates of required tests and class demonstration/personality test will be intimated to all eligible candidates at a later date.

N.B.

• This important information is for all concerned that the calculation of age limit (minimum and maximum) of the candidate is determined as on the 1st day of the year of advertisement i.e., 1st January, 2024 in the present case, as per Govt. rules.
• All appearing candidates are hereby advised to note that for the posts advertised above only the first five position holders according to the merit list prepared in descending order on the basis total scores obtained in the main selection test shall be issued call letters for class demonstration (for teaching post)/Personality Test along with computer typing and proficiency test (for clerk) to be held before preparation of the final panel.
