RECRUITMENT NOTICE

ONLINE applications are invited from eligible female candidates for the following vacant post of Yogoda Satsanga Kanya Vidyalaya, Lakhanpur, Dist – Purulia, running under the aegis of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India through Special Rules granted by the Govt. of West Bengal. The last date of submitting applications online is 22nd July, 2024.

1. Asst. Teacher (Arts group) – History (Grad); Pass graduate with 300 marks in History and BEd – UR category  

All eligibility criteria (including age) will be as per norms of the WBSSC Rules for Appointment of Teachers 2007 and all subsequent amendments issued till date.

Essential:

(a) Graduate /Post Graduate from recognized University with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution;

Or

(b) Graduate /Post Graduate from recognized University with at least 45% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution, [in accordance with National Council for Teacher Education
(form of Application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to start new course or training) Regulations, 2002 notified on 13/11/2002 and National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition norms and Procedures) Regulations, 2007 notified on 10/12/2007];

Or

(c) 4 years degree of B.A.Ed /B.Sc.Ed. from any National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.

Note – The minimum qualification as prescribed by the NCTE on the date of publication of advertisement shall also be considered.

Age-Limit:

Minimum 20 years and maximum 40 years. Upper age limit is, however, relaxable by 5 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates, and 8 years for the Physically Handicapped Candidates and up to 55 years of age for in-service school teacher.

GOs to be followed:

175-SE/JS/13 dated 27.8.2013, 1105-SE/S/1S-26/2010 (Pt.-III) dated 20.09.2016 and other Acts, Rules and GOs as applicable.

Pay scale, allowances and other retirement benefits are as per state govt. rules as applicable to grant in-aid institutions.

After completing the formal registration process through our Appointment Portal, applicants have to fill in and submit online all the required details, and upload all relevant certificates, documents and/or testimonials, passport-sized photographs, before submitting their applications. All other necessary communications are to be addressed to The Secretary, Yogoda Satsanga Kanya Vidyalaya, Lakhanpur, Dist – Purulia.

Selection Procedure:

• All eligible candidates will be issued admit cards for the written test. The written test will consist of two papers. Paper – I of 45 marks on the subject (Syllabus) and Paper – II of 15 marks on test of aptitude in imparting value-based education along the lines of the Aims and Ideals of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India. All questions will be of objective types (one mark each) and tests will be conducted through OMR sheets.

• A merit list for personality test and class demonstration will be prepared considering only the first five position holders selected considering the total score obtained in the written test and the score obtained on the basis of academic qualifications (Academic Qualification Marking Procedure). The successful candidates will be issued call letters for personality test and class demonstration.

• Appearance before the personality test board is compulsory.

• The final panel of three successful candidates in order of merit will be prepared after considering the total score obtained in written test, score obtained on the basis of academic qualification and the score obtained in the personality test and class demonstration.

• The details of venue and dates of written test, personality test and class demonstration etc. will be duly intimated to all eligible candidates and will also be published in our Appointment Portal.

Examination Fees:

₹ 600/- (UR), 500/- (SC, ST), No examination fees for Physically Handicapped (PH) and Exempted Categories (EC).

Examination fees are to be paid ONLINE only as per the instruction given in the website.

N.B.

• The OBC category should not be opted for while filling in the application form.
