The Kulabahal Paramhansa Yogananda Vidyapith began as a junior high school in the year 1965 with just eight students in a small cottage in a far reaching endeavor to provide the light of education in the remote and distant areas of Purulia district. The child of 1965 is today a man of experience and maturity and has around 550 students.
